The cottage is perfectly positioned to explore the wonderful Jurassic coast too. Venture to Fleet Lagoon Nature reserve which is a few minutes away and get to know Dorset’s wildlife. Jurassic coast path is nearby too offering stunning scenery along the coast. Seaside towns of Lyme Regis and Weymouth with a lot of attractions for young and old alike, are just a short drive away. The Old Reading Room offers an abundance of walks for you to enjoy and explore the area. A 10-minute walk will take you to Fleet Lagoon, a paradise for birds and it’s one of a few natural lagoons around the world. It is a very important area for wildlife with very low levels of ambient light pollution. If you are an admirer of the stars, you are definitely in for a treat.
