Renowned for the famed 1066 Battle of Hastings that took place in its very own landscapes, Battle is a truly intriguing town brimming with history and charm. Being home to a great number of restaurants, shops and tea rooms as well makes Battle a fantastic holiday destination. Keen walkers can also take advantage of the numerous beautiful gardens and National trust grounds which surround the village. This central location places visitors perfectly for also visiting Rye, Hastings, Bexhill and numerous other wonderful locations including Pashley Manor House. Step inside and instantly be welcomed into the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge has corner sofas to relax on after a busy day exploring whilst watching your favourite film on the large Smart TV with surround sound and Blu ray player with movies, or on the 105 projector screen with home cinema. When it comes to dining the well equipped kitchen has everything you need to whip up a meal with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, Nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher and washing machine, the dining area seats everyone for a nice meal in. Step through to the boot room to store shoes and coats, also there is a handy shower room with shower and WC. Head up to the first floor landing where there is a desk area for any work that needs to be done during your stay, along the landing you will find a king size bedroom with TV, a double bedroom and a bathroom with WC. Head outside to small enclosed sun trap decked area with patio chairs, perfect to enjoy a glass of wine on a warm summers evening. If you would like to bring your own bikes there is a lockable bike shed for your use that can fit up to four bikes. There is a public car park directly opposite the cottage (local charges apply).
