This property enjoys a quiet rural location in the mid Wales countryside, with the stunning backdrop of the Cambrian Mountains. The location is ideal for those who like spending time outdoors, enjoying the simple pleasures of scenic country walks, and relaxing bike rides. The area surrounding the property is simply stunning, with the Elan Valley s reservoirs and dams, the rugged beauty of the Brecon Beacons, the stunning Wye Valley and the wildlife rich Bwlch Nant Yr Arian, home to a huge number of red kites, which are fed daily by the lake. The town of Rhayader is just a short distance from the property, not only offering a range of shops and eateries, but is also the home of Welsh Royal Crystal and its interesting visitor centre. The town of Llanidloes is only a short drive away too. The property is ideally located close to National cycle routes, as well as many popular walks. For those in the area for wedding celebrations, this property is within close proximity of many local wedding venues. On arrival at this property, there are a few steps up to the front door, and guests first come to the open plan lounge/diner, a welcoming room with a lovely cosy feel to it, where guests will find a dining table, comfortable sofa seating, a TV, and DVD. The kitchen, next to the lounge/diner, is well equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and washing machine. The shower room with its shower and WC is also located on the ground floor, whilst the properties two bedrooms can be found upstairs. The first of these is a restful king size room with a beamed ceiling, whilst the second bedroom is a spacious, characterful twin room (which can be made as a super king size if requested at time of booking). Guests should be aware that the bedrooms both have sloping ceilings, and, therefore, some reduced head height. Outside, the property enjoys an enclosed lawn with garden furniture, offering attractive views over the surrounding countryside from the provided table and chairs, as well as bike storage for those who need it.
