You ll receive a warm Welsh welcome on arrival at this remarkable 18th century Brecon Beacons barn, perfect for discovering the wonders of the national park with all the family. Step out and embark on a trip up Pen y Fan (6 miles), the area s highest mountain with striking views from its summit. You may prefer to travel a little further to the Black Mountains region and walk the Waun Fach (13 miles), or set out on some thrilling outdoor adventures with the Llangorse Activity Centre (9.5 miles). For more peaceful excursions, head to the nearby market town of Brecon (2 miles), which is filled to the brim with history, charm and most importantly excellent places to eat and drink. Don t be afraid to return from your adventures with muddy boots and wet coats, heading straight into the handy utility room to make use of washing machine, tumble dryer and the sink. Once you ve dried off and settled in, feel free to discover the generous farmhouse kitchen, which comes equipped with a hob and fan oven, larder style fridge, freezer and microwave, as well as a vast breakfast table comfortably seating ten. Meals can also be enjoyed in the devoted dining room which features another spacious table. All ten of you will find space to rest and relax come the evening, with the conservatory boasting comfy sofas and a mesmerising view across the Brecon Beacons, and the lounge offering a cosy hub for watching the TV/DVD by the wood burner. Alternatively, make use of the CD Hi Fi system or play a family board game. The first of five bedrooms can be found here on the ground floor. This is a twin bedroom. Completing the ground floor is a shower room with WC, and separate WC. A wide set of stairs leads you to the first floor and four further bedrooms. One master king size and three double bedrooms all offer sumptuous spots for a good night's sleep. Finally, the property boasts a family bathroom with bath and WC, and a shower room with shower and WC. When blessed with bright and cheerful weather, be sure to soak up the Welsh sunshine in the garden. This enclosed space is ideal for letting younger visitors and their canine companions safely burn off some energy, and the outdoor furniture ensure dining alfresco runs without a hitch.
