House is situated within 5 acres of formal gardens which include a tennis court and 6 hole golf course.
On the ground floor there is a substantial entrance hall and inner lobby with large bay windows.
Leading directly off the entrance hall is the less formal sitting room with comfortable seating and a television with DVD player.
The grand drawing room leads to the snooker room with a half size table, this room is also home to a range of books, board games (adults and childrens), puzzles and DVDs.
The large kitchen is well fitted out with a 4 ring cooker, griddle and a double oven, a microwave, freezer, fridge, dishwasher and a large range of cooking equipment and utensils. Next to the kitchen is the utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer a second fridge and recycling facilities .
The substantial dining room, adjacent to the kitchen, has a table large enough for for 12 and a woodburning stove.
There is a downstairs cloakroom with toilet and hand basin.
The house sleeps 9 adults and up to 4 children (in bunk beds and day beds) comfortably. There are 2 travel cots and 1 travel bed guard available for use.
The master bedroom family suite with king size bed has an en-suite bathroom with cast iron roll top bath and walk in shower and a recessed dressing area with day bed and trundle beneath providing 2 extra single beds.
There are two further double bedrooms one with a king size bed and one with a double bed. The king sized bedroom leads to the twin bunk bedroom - perfect for families with young children.
Finally there is a twin room which has zip and link beds and can be set up as a king or two singles and a single bedroom.
There is a large family bathroom equipped with a slipper bath, walk in shower, two sinks and a toilet. There is also a separate shower room with toilet and sink.
Duvets and pillows are included in all bedrooms. Bed linen and towels are optional (we are happy for you to bring your own) and are charged at £10 per person.
Located in Ludlow, this vacation home is in a rural area. Castle Lodge and Ludlow Castle are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include Ludlow Food Centre and Clee Hills. Traveling with kids? Consider Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre and Westonbury Mill Water Gardens.
