Set within the grounds of a traditional working farm, you can enjoy plenty by foot from this lodge, with well marked farm trails and wildlife ponds where you can take a dip or enjoy the wildlife. It s a short walk into Talybont on Usk which is well served with two pubs and shops and ideally situated for exploring the Taff Cycle Trail, the Brinore Tramroad, and the Henry Vaughan Walk. The Blaen y Glyn waterfalls are nearby (7.5 miles), or you can take a walk around the Pontsticill Reservoir (8 miles) or a trip on a steam train through the region. The popular town of Brecon (8.5 miles) has a cinema, theatre, historic cathedral, and several great independent shops and places to eat and drink. Enjoy the views across the valley before you step inside this beautiful lodge, finished to a very high standard and perfect for couples wanting to get away and enjoy the countryside. The open plan living space has been well configured offering guests a cosy space to relax and unwind in front of the wood burner (first basket of logs included). For dining, there is a table and chairs, and for the chef amongst you, there s a bespoke kitchen that is well equipped to offer an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, dishwasher and washing machine. A generous king size bedroom with garden views offers access to a luxury bathroom with a free standing bath, his and hers sinks and a WC. Outside, the garden has an open aspect within sympathetically landscaped grounds. There is a hot tub where you can relax and enjoy the dark skies, as well as a table and chairs for dining and a BBQ. There is guest parking for two cars within the on site car park.
