This picturesque barn sits just above the village of Talgarth. You can reach the small farming town in 2 miles with shops, pubs and restaurants. The Talgarth Mill and bakery are a must for those with a sweet tooth or a love of bread. Woodland walks and bike trails surround the property, and you can see grazing sheep and ponies at Rhos Fach Common. The town of Brecon is 11 miles from here, or head to the historic book town of Hay on Wye in 10 miles. Step back in time when entering this surprisingly spacious property through the low door the barn is thoughtfully decorated and designed. The galley style kitchen features all the equipment you will need to cook a delicious meal, and a Belfast sink is a nice touch. The living area is bright and spacious with exposed beams; it also has a wood burner and one basket of wood will be provided for you. Downstairs you will also find the shower room with electric shower. Head up to the mezzanine floor via steep stairs to the bedroom and its white painted stone walls. There is a king size bed, as well as a single bed in the corner. A garden reaches from the side of the property round to the back and has garden furniture and a BBQ with exceptional views across the Black Mountains. The pretty cottage is covered in ivy and the garden is kept very nicely. There is also a separate enclosed area, which is ideal for dogs to roam free. Plenty of parking is available to the front of the property. This property is situated in the same courtyard as the Owners home.
