There is so much surrounding history and picturesque countryside to enjoy at this property, you be spoilt for choice for interesting places to visit and things to do. Ghost hunt in some of the historic ruins, birdwatch along the estuary to see kingfishers and egrets, or head to the sandy beaches on either side of you where there is plenty of space for surfers, bathers, fishermen and horse riders to enjoy this unspoilt coastline. 10 miles north west is Porthcawl which has another three large sandy beaches to enjoy a lovely promenade, theatre, funfair and a golf club. Travel just 25 miles east to find the capital of Wales, Cardiff where you can experience the castle, museums and shopping centres. As you enter this exceptionally styled, contemporary, open plan living area, with muted beach tones and gorgeous wood textures, it really does feel like a perfect beach house. The light floods in through the skylights and windows giving it a lovely open and spacious feel, perfect for relaxing to the sound of the sea on the snug blue sofa or enjoying some family time with a board game or a family movie on the Smart TV. This room also includes a dining table for two and a breakfast bar with two stools. The kitchen is well equipped with a gas oven and hob, microwave, fridge with small freezer compartment and dishwasher. From the living area, you can access the funky mezzanine twin room via an open (pull out, loft like) ladder the room has overhead spotlights, two skylights and a squishy bean bag to chill on. Downstairs is the master bedroom with a king size bed that has stunning sea views; you ll find a dresser and plenty of space to hang your clothes as well as an en suite shower room with a dual shower head and a WC. Outside, you are able to enjoy the views further with your very own open plan stone patio area including a table and chairs should you wish to dine alfresco.
