A 2.5 mile drive will take you to the bustling town of Brecon, renowned for the famous Theatr Brycheiniog, pretty canal, and of course the numerous eateries and independent shops. Adventurous types will adore the activities on offer at Lake Llangorse, 9 miles away, where you can try your hand at canoeing, fishing, and even waterskiing and wakeboarding. Step inside to discover an understated yet cosy interior, finished in the style of a traditional county cottage. Single level with a small step down to the living area, it is the perfect choice for families and friendship groups seeking a quiet haven. The kitchen has everything you need to cook up a storm using delicious locally sourced ingredients. The dining area is ideal for gathering for heartier meals and adjoins the comfortable sitting room, complete with patio doors leading outside. Put your feet up and settle down with a good book or an exciting film, treating yourself to a few after dinner snacks. When it is time for bed, enjoy a soothing soak in the bathroom before retreating to one of two inviting bedrooms. The family bedroom is perfect for guests with young children and features two singles alongside a snug double bed. A separate shared laundry room can be found in an adjacent building, taking care of any washing needs during your stay. The cottage is part of a complex of properties located next to the owner s 17th century farmhouse, sharing a large stretch of grassland. A bubbling stream meanders alongside the properties, passing your private patio as it makes its way to the bottom of the grass verge. This outside space is quiet and sheltered and features a BBQ for lazy summer evenings relaxing outside. You can also wander the farm by prior arrangement with the owner, visiting the livestock and exploring the various trails leading from the property.
