Located near Bontddu village with the seaside resort of Barmouth 4.5 miles in the West and the market town of Dolgellau 3.5 miles in the East, both offer a wide range of attractions, independent shops, cafe s, pubs and restaurants to enjoy. Within half a mile, crossing the estuary by the wooden toll bridge, there is the RSPB site and pub offering culinary delights and local beers. The National Park has copious cycle routes and foot paths from gentle strolls to challenging climbs, enjoy kayaking, river and sea fishing or visit Coed y Brenin, Zip World and Surf Snowdonia. With an abundance of museums, galleries, historic sites such as Harlech Castle and Portmeirion to name but 2, there is always something to see and do. Three storey former chapel house refurbished in 2017, from the balcony you enter the hall, leading to the relaxing lounge with wood burner effect electric fire, comfy sofas, TV and views of the estuary. The bedrooms, on the first and second floor consist of one double, one small double and a single, all are welcoming with freshly laundered linen, fluffy towels and interesting views. Head downstairs to the well equipped kitchen/diner with electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and all the equipment you need if you decide to eat in. Look out for the original bread oven. The dining table is well positioned by the window with stunning views as you enjoy a meal and plan activities with your friends and family. There is a bathroom with bath and WC. Also there is a shower room with shower and WC Outside there is plenty of space to enjoy alfresco dining, relaxing and embracing the wonderful surroundings, estuary and mountain views from the decked balcony with furniture by the main entrance, or from the back door with access to the lawn surrounded by mature shrubs. Parking for one car at the front of the property, further parking is available at layby around 30 yards from the property.
