This cosy property is studded amongst ancient woodland that once formed part of the Welsh Celtic Rainforest, offering a tranquil base for up to six guests. Whether you are seeking a homely retreat for a special family holiday or a quiet space to unwind with friends, you ll soon find yourself navigating the spectacular landscape that the Snowdonia National Park is famous for. You ll be positioned just above the Roman encampment of Frongoch, an interesting place to visit and commemorate the events that took place last century. Discover a myriad of winding trails leading through mountain ranges and along the banks of the River Dyfi, visiting the beautiful village of Aberdovey to enjoy the beach and many attractions this village is best known for. Enter via the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner to find a delightful open plan living space characterised by slate floors, high vaulted ceilings and rustic wooden beams. There s a chic farmhouse style kitchen equipped with an electric oven, microwave oven, halogen hob, under counter fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine, plus a Nespresso coffee machine and milk heater for an extra treat. Rustle up delicious meals using local ingredients, then pull up one of the quirky chairs to eat around the table. Two arched doorways reveal the lounge in all its hygge esque charm thanks to the exposed stone wall, large patio doors, wood burner (pellets only) and wooden floors. Snuggle up under a blanket on the deep sofas, switch on the TV or rummage through the games drawer to choose your evening entertainment. Back through to the entrance, you ll find a shower room with a stepped access walk in shower and WC and a separate WC. The first bedroom is also located here with its king size bed, and it is excellent for accessibility as it has a large sliding door to the kitchen, a handy option should you need wider access. Steep open tread stairs ascend to the mezzanine landing with its seating area. You ll also discover a pretty bedroom with a double bed and a sloped ceiling. A separate annexe can be found adjacent to the property, a delightfully private spot with a double bed and an en suite shower room and WC. Outside, the gravelled terrace sweeps around the perimeter of the property and is shaded by mature trees. It is still a suntrap on warm afternoons, and you ll revel in the impressive vistas across the Plynlimon mountains and Dyfi estuary from the south facing viewing point above the property. Off road parking is available for up to four cars.
