Bloomsburys is located on the outskirts of Biddenden village; it is a lovely stroll from the site into the village, where you can discover the local pub of The Red Lion, the Bakehouse café for tasty brunches, and The West House, a fine dining restaurant owned and operated by Graham Garratt. You're also close to the renowned Three Chimneys pub, which serves delectable food and local ales. You'll also find an amply-stocked village shop and post office here, where you can get your necessities. From Bloomsburys, there are lovely circular hikes over wide farmland and magnificent woodlands; more sports activities can be enjoyed Squash and Tennis Club which is also located in the village. Sissinghurst Castle & Gardens is a short drive from the Wild Rose; alternatively, a decent walk from the Wild Rose will lead you to the famed, family-run Biddenden Vineyards, where visits, tastings, and trips to the on-site shop may be enjoyed. Hush Heath Vineyards and Chapel Down are two additional well-known local vineyards that are worth visiting; Sedlescombe BioDynamic Vineyards, a little farther away, offers tours, sampling, lunch, and afternoon tea. There are many golf courses in the region, the closest of which is the London Beach Hotel in St Michaels along Chart Hills in Biddenden; if angling is more your style, there are numerous nearby fishing lakes, such as Green Acres, Cackle Hill, and Hawhurst Fishing Lakes. Why not try horseback riding at Sissinghurst's Apple Tree Stables or Bedgebury Forest's Bedgebury Forest? The Bedgebury Pinetum is not only a lovely place to go horseback riding, but it's also a fascinating local attraction that dates back to Victorian times and is now home to Go Ape. Leeds Castle, which also has a Go Ape and Segway excursions, is another great place to visit. You're close to Ashford, which has a designer outlet where you can indulge in some retail therapy while perusing discounts from a variety of well-known high-street brands. A short drive away is the community of Headcorn, which has a supermarket and access to a major line train station from which trains to London's Charing Cross run frequently. Tenterden, a port town nearby, has a lovely high street with antique stores, two supermarkets, cafés and restaurants, as well as a leisure club with an indoor pool and gym. Rye is a wonderful town nearby that is certainly worth a visit; here you will discover the pleasures of Camber Sands and Dungeness, from which you can windsurf and kite surf, before uncovering the town's many historic structures, cobblestoned streets, and underground passageways that date back to the days of pirates and smugglers; don't forget to pay a visit to Kino, an independent cinema! The town of Hastings' Pier, Old Town, music scene, theatre, and picture house are all fantastic places to visit for sightseeing. You can also visit Cranbrook for further sightseeing, which features a charming main street with boutique stores, a windmill, and a museum.
