This lovingly decorated cottage is located on a 22 acres fruit farm, nestled in the pretty village of Egerton, a picture perfect Kent village, with a local pub, shop, and restaurant. Heading a little further from the cottage will lead you to the market town of Tenterden with its wide selection of independent shops along a beautiful tree lined high street, Leeds Castle, a great family day out, and a whole host of stunning National Trust houses, gardens and numerous other wonderful locations. For those who like the great outdoors, there are some great local walks leading to local villages, which can be finished with a stop at the local pub for a spot of refreshment. Although on a working farm, you will feel like you have the entire place to yourselves. Enter the cottage through the front door which opens into the light and spacious open plan lounge/kitchen/diner with breath taking views across farmland. The lounge area has a wood burner, comfy sofa and two armchairs and a Smart TV with access to Netflix. There is table suitable for four people to dine at and a cupboard with a selection of board games and books. The kitchen area has all the equipment you would expect, including an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer and a washing machine. A corridor leads from the kitchen area to the two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a King sized bed and French doors with fantastic views across the rural surroundings. The second bedroom has twin beds and there is also a bathroom with a slipper bath, separate shower and WC. French windows in the lounge, lead out to a large south facing patio area with a patio table and chairs, a charcoal BBQ and a cottage garden. By arrangement, there is access to the owner's farm where guests are welcome to pick their own fruit (depending on the season) and collect eggs from the chickens. The children and adults alike will have a great time feeding the animals. There is private parking for two cars and the owner can arrange bicycle storage.
