This holiday bungalow was recently refurbished in 2022 and offers a wonderful stay all year round having comfortable accommodation, with a conservatory at rear overlooking the garden and a perfect spot to relax in, and even enjoy a sea view. Enjoying a wonderful coastal location, Turnstones is within walking distance from the long sandy beach and the village, having two pubs both serving good food, a fish and chip shop and ice cream parlour.
Visit the traditional seaside resort of Cromer, 12 miles, and discover the unspoilt Edwardian seafront, promenade, pier and Amazonia Zoo. Or drive to Wroxham, 12 miles, known as the capital of the Norfolk Broads National Park where you can hire a day launch or join a cruise and watch the world drift by and enjoy local wildlife. You are close to the heart of the Norfolk Broads National Park, so boats are readily available. Bacton Woods is close by with miles of woodland trails to explore. Ideal for cycling, picnic opportunities and great for dog walking. Bird watching, golf and fishing all available locally. If you can tear yourself away from the beach you will find a string of other coastal habitats to explore including marshes, sand dunes and pretty quays.
Venture a little further to Blakeney and take a boat trip to see the seals (seasonal) or enjoy a spot of crabbing on the quay. Head east and you’ll discover Great Yarmouth’s Golden Mile with all the fun of the fair and just a little further is Pleasurewood Hills, Norfolk’s only theme park. Enjoy a ride on the Bure Valley Railway from Wroxham and travel through the pretty Norfolk countryside to the bustling market town of Aylsham for a spot of shopping or lunch. With other attractions such as the tranquil Hickling Broad, BeWILDerwood, Dinosaur Park at Lenwade, North Norfolk Railway and the medieval city of Norwich all within easy reach. This truly is the ideal location to be as active as you wish, or simply relax, rewind, and enjoy the seaside and its magical sunsets. Shop, pub, and restaurant 500 yards. Beach ¼ mile. Located in Norwich, this cottage is in a rural area and by the ocean. Happisburgh Lighthouse and How Hill Trust are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Norfolk Broads and Norfolk Coast. East Ruston Old Vicarage and The Museum of the Broads are also worth visiting.
