Wonderfully located amongst the rolling countryside, this blissful spot close to the North Norfolk coast, is where you will find this pretty Victorian semi-detached farmers cottage located not too far from everything that's happening in the popular village of Thornham.
Thyme Cottage is a lovely place to retreat to when life seems oh-so-busy. Romantic and full of country charm, this rural retreat accommodates up to six guests and is located close to neighbouring Rosemary Cottage.
If you enjoy long country walks and cycling quiet country lanes and being on the edge of open countryside, then Thyme Cottage ticks all the boxes. This is an idyllic setting for a perfect stay whatever the time of year you choose to visit Norfolk. A few miles from the desirable and popular village of Thornham with its beach and harbour and numerous shops and eateries, Thyme Cottage is both characterful and stylish.
The owner has lovingly re-designed the property to ensure you will feel comfortable from the moment you step inside. Equipped with all the mod cons but with beams and rustic features throughout, the property has super-comfortable beds and furnishings, but is also practical enough for the whole family or a group of friends to enjoy.
On cosy nights, light the wood burning stove and enjoy supper or move to the snug where there are comfortable sofa’s. When the weather is warm, open up the French doors and relax in the sunny garden to the rear. With a social open-plan kitchen/diner, you may wish to eat in, but with at least five restaurants located a short drive away in nearby Thornham village you might be tempted by Eric's Fish and Chips or the fine dining available at The Orange Tree!
The quiet location of the cottage is undoubtedly its selling point.
