Old Malton is a small picturesque village, a pretty Yorkshire market town, located on the north of the River Derwent on the historic boundary between the North and East Ridings of Yorkshire. There are two pubs in the village where you can stroll to easily or if you fancy a bit more choice, potter off into the town. There is a famous food festival, monthly food market, Malton Cookery School, traditional food shops and artisan producers. It also has a large number of independent shops. There are so many country walks to enjoy throughout the area or can head to Pickering where you can catch a North York Railway steam train which will take you through to the pretty seaside town of Whitby. Step inside this warm and cosy cottage and feel instantly at home, head through to the lounge, a really cosy place with a wood burner and Smart TV, ideal to curl up and watch a movie.
