It provides the ideal base from which to explore this vibrant and ancient City. Take a stroll around the Minster, delight in a boat trip on the River Ouse, visit The National Railway Museum and York Art Gallery or explore the internationally renowned Jorvik Viking Centre. For keen walkers and cyclists, the Howardian Hills AONB (13 miles), North York Moors (25 miles), and Yorkshire Dales (30 miles) are all within easy reach, providing stunning scenery and a wealth of tracks and trails to explore with your four legged friends. Enjoying stylish décor with a contemporary twist, the property has been wonderfully furnished to bring the 'outside' in. The cottage benefits from a wonderful open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, where the cosy lounge area provides comfortable chairs, a sofa bed and a Smart TV with Netflix. The stunning kitchen is equipped with an induction hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, and Nespresso coffee machine. A large dining table creates the ideal space for family and friends to socialise, with wonderful double doors opening up to outside, flooding the room with light. On the first floor, you will find a double bedroom, bathroom with shower over bath and WC and a study area where you can relax and read a book or, for the workaholics among us, catch up on some emails. A final flight of stairs leads to the second floor double bedroom with views over York from the Velux windows and low, sloping ceilings. Externally, the cottage enjoys a private walled courtyard with a seating area and charcoal BBQ. It is the ideal space to relax in the summer and enjoy a glass of wine al fresco. A parking permit is provided for on street parking for one car.
