Set in an idyllic location, in an elevated position in Swaledale, the cottage offers unspoiled views of the surrounding meadows and the River Swale beyond. Don your walking shoes and explore the walking trails and cycling routes that surround you before taking respite at the welcoming gastro pub sitting within walking distance. If you're looking to enjoy some of the nearby market towns as well as the incomparable countryside, the market town of Richmond sitting just 15 miles away is well worth a visit. Here you can visit its historic castle, pretty Easby Abbey and the Green Howards Regimental Military Museum alongside plenty of shops and pubs. Step inside this charming chocolate box cottage to reveal an equally as beautiful interior which is sure to make you feel at home from the moment you enter. As you step into the cosy lounge your attention will be turned to the stone inglenook fireplace housing a traditional wood burner, so you can fire it up and truly sit back and relax during the chillier months. Across the hall is the farmhouse style kitchen/diner, you'll find everything you need and more to put together a wonderful meal before gathering around the large dining table to enjoy it. When the day is done, head upstairs and take your pick from the three lovingly furnished bedrooms. The master boasts a king size bed alongside a spacious en suite with large walk in shower. The additional two bedrooms are twins, with the family bathroom complete with bath also located on the first floor. The first floor is also home to a wonderful garden room/snug, a sun drenched space leading out to the elevated rear garden. The garden itself is a pleasant, fully enclosed space which becomes a real suntrap during the warmer months. Enjoy some al fresco dining at the lovely bistro table or simply sit back and take in your serene surroundings. You'll also find a small cottage garden out the front so you can start your day with a morning coffee as you take in the fabulous views in all directions.
