It is dominated by its big market square, which still hosts a vibrant Friday market. With its various craft shops, galleries, and tea cafes, the town has a lot to offer. This charming location has numerous lovely treks for all abilities, as well as delightful places to explore. Many other attractions are also nearby, including the Constable Burton Hall Gardens, which has extensive parkland and woodland walks, the Forbidden Corner, which has underground passages to explore, and, of course, the lovely Georgian town of Richmond, which has fine castle ruins.
Located in Leyburn, this vacation home is in a rural area. Catterick Golf Club and Grimwith Reservoir are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit The Forbidden Corner and Jervaulx Abbey. Raydale Preserves and Himalayan Garden & Sculpture Park are also worth visiting. Fishing offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with cycling, hiking/biking trails, and rock climbing nearby.
