Slightly further afield is the bustling market town of Pickering (21 miles) with its historic castle, Dalby Forest (27 miles) with miles of cycle tracks to enjoy and the beautiful Castle Howard (20 miles). Other pretty market towns worth a visit include Helmsley (21 miles) and Malton which both have a variety of shops and local produce, Malton (25 miles) is fondly known as Yorkshire s food capital and has regular food fayres. Not forgetting the nearby beaches for you to enjoy. Head down the path to this cosy little bolthole for two.
