Situated in a quiet corner of the popular village of Bellingham with plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants. The picturesque Hareshaw Linn waterfall and woodland walk is close by for a romantic walk from the village. Play golf at the nearby 18 hole golf course. Kielder Forest and Water Park offers a wide range of outdoor activities, plus a myriad of cycling and walking trails. Visit Tower Knowe visitor centre (10 miles), the gateway to the park. Take time out to appreciate the Dark Sky Park status offering superb star gazing opportunities. Explore Roman history at Housesteads Fort (17 miles). Drive to the coast to discover Northumberland s golden sands and coastal villages. Head into the hallway from the rear of the cottage with space for your coats and boots. The well equipped kitchen is just off the hall with everything you need to make a tasty meal and there is a handy, pull out breakfast table. The shower room is also off the hallway with a shower cubicle and WC. Head through to the open plan lounge/diner where you will find plenty of comfortable seating so you can just sit back after a busy day exploring the area and unwind in front of the cosy wood burner to watch a little TV or a film on DVD. At bedtime, the spacious double bedroom provides lovely garden views and is a haven for a peaceful night s sleep. There is a seating area with a comfortable chair, so you can also relax with a book. Outside, to the front, there is an enclosed, gravelled garden with garden furniture, just perfect for sitting with a drink to relax and catch up after a day exploring. The garden gate leads to the village. At the rear, you have a long, enclosed second garden accessed across the lane with more garden furniture and a charcoal BBQ so you can dine outdoors and your dog run about and can play.
