There are beautiful sandy beaches within a few minutes’ walk and the pretty village of Embleton is nearby and there is a fantastic scenic walk from here to the neighbouring village of Craster with the town of Alnwick the ideal location for having a browse and stocking up on essentials. Nearby Embleton Bay is a gorgeous sandy beach with other beaches worth visiting including Beadnell Bay Beach and Newton Haven Beach. Just a few miles away is the stunning Dunstanburgh Castle and if you’ve got a taste for history then check out Alnwick Castle, Preston Tower, Howick Hall and Bamburgh Castle.
