This cottage, in the historic hamlet of Lamberton, looks out over Northumberland s heritage coastline. It is just 4 miles from the medieval town of Berwick upon Tweed, with its excellent range of leisure and shopping facilities, an array of eateries, friendly Inns, and a train station to enjoy trips to Edinburgh or Newcastle. You could visit Paxton House (7 miles), or the harbour town of Eyemouth (5 miles). St Abbs (9 miles), which recently featured as a filming location for the blockbuster movie Avengers Endgame, has a dive centre, nature reserve, and high speed RIB rides or leisurely wildlife cruises to enjoy. This single storey cottage is in an elevated position with wonderful sea and island views. Step into the hall, and through to the light and bright lounge. Relax on the comfortable sofas after a day out exploring the beautiful coastline and watch a movie on the 50 inch TV with a DVD player. On those cooler evenings enjoy cosy nights in front of the electric wood burner with mood lighting. There are French doors leading out to the large, mature wrap around gardens. The dining room has ample seating for family or romantic gatherings. Next up is the sunroom with direct access out to the garden. The kitchen is the perfect space to cook up a storm and includes an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, and dishwasher. There is a handy utility room with a sink, washing machine, and access out to the rear patio. Continuing back through the hall you will find a king size bedroom with a TV, wonderful sea views, and storage space. The bathroom features a hand held shower over a corner bath, and WC. The next bedroom has super king zip and link bed (which can be made as twins on request) again with sea views, TV, and storage space. Next is a shower room with shower cubical and WC. Completing the wonderful accommodation is a double bedroom with countryside views and storage space. Venturing outside, the garden offers views towards Holy Island and the Farne Islands. At the rear of the property, there is a patio with seating area for al fresco dining or lazy evening star gazing in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There is also a large built in paved ramp from the patio area with direct access to the property. Explore further and you will find the spacious games room located next door to the property, with a pool table, table football, darts board, and an array of board games for all the family to enjoy. There is ample off road private parking available directly in front of the property.
