Visit Bellingham (7 miles) for shops, pubs, and restaurants and the Hareshaw Linn Waterfall, and head to nearby Greenhaugh village for a drink and dinner. The beautiful stone built cottage has been lovingly refurbished and tastefully furnished and decorated with wood flooring throughout and quality finishing touches. The main living accommodation is on the first floor to take advantage of the stunning views along the Tarset Valley and surrounding open countryside. Step into the bright and welcoming hallway where you can leave your outdoor boots and coats. A glazed door at the far end leads out to the front garden. The three attractive bedrooms are all located on the ground floor with ample storage for your things. There are two king size rooms, each with a feature fireplace and a twin bedroom with open hanging space. The family shower room comprises a large, wet room style shower and WC and there is also an additional WC. Head upstairs to find the impressive, open plan lounge/kitchen/diner with vaulted ceilings drawing the eye upward to the original exposed beams and adding a light and airy feel to the space. Unwind in the lounge and relax on the comfortable leather sofas with a drink after a day outdoors. At mealtimes, the kitchen has everything you need to make a tasty meal with an electric range style five ring hob and double oven, a built in microwave, a fridge/freezer, and a dishwasher. There are bar stools to sit on at the kitchen island to enjoy a drink or breakfast and you can all sit together at the extendable dining table for sociable dinners. Outside at the front of the cottage, there is a large, south facing garden area with a wooden table and bench seating where you can enjoy alfresco dining and drinks while admiring the fabulous views and starry night skies. Parking for 3 cars is off road at the rear.
