The cottage is located next to forest walks and cycle ways, opposite beautiful Kielder Castle, in the stunning Kielder Water and Forest Park. Red squirrels and a variety of birds regularly visit the garden and there are miles of fabulous views and walking and cycling trails around the reservoir and forest to discover. In Kielder, you can walk, hike, canoe, sail, fish, play golf, use your own mountain bikes or simply rent them near the cottage. This is designated international Dark Skies territory and gazing up at the milky way is a natural wonder you can enjoy every night. Visit the Kielder Observatory for a range of fun, astronomical activities for all the family. For days out further afield visit nearby Bellingham, Hadrian s Wall Country and the sandy beaches and seaside villages all along the stunning Northumberland coastline. Access to this charming, single storey cottage is via two steps at the side door into a hallway, tastefully decorated with attractive wood and tiled flooring throughout the property. Head into the lounge where comfortable seating invites you to relax in front of the cosy wood burner and there is Smart TV with Netflix for your entertainment. Just off the lounge is the sun room with a dining table and chairs where you can sit and plan your day and enjoy sociable meals together overlooking the garden. Head through to the well equipped kitchen with everything you need, including an electric oven and induction hob, two fridges (one with a freezer section), microwave, coffee machine and dishwasher. There is a utility area off the kitchen with a washing machine and tumble dryer and a separate WC. The two bedrooms and bathroom are reached from the hallway. The light and airy master bedroom has a king size bed and plenty of storage for your belongings and the second bedroom has two single beds, a chest of drawers and a wardrobe. The bathroom has a shower over the bath and WC with complimentary toiletries . Outside, there is an enclosed garden patio to the side with garden furniture for al fresco dining. To the rear of the property is a lawned area. There is a lockable bike shed in the garden and off road parking for two cars
