Visit Cragside House, walk in the Simonside Hills, explore Alnwick Castle and Gardens, head to Kielder Forest and experience the heritage coastline. Step inside this lovely, stylish property, offering a blend of rustic sophistication, named in honour of the amazing thoroughbred racehorse. You will find yourself in the bright, open plan lounge/kitchen/diner with two large picture windows looking out over the garden and deer park. There is a large sofa and three comfortable easy chairs where you can relax to catch up with one another or watch a movie on the Smart TV. The contemporary kitchen is packed with features and subtle lighting, making cooking fun as well as a breeze with an eye level electric fan oven, built in combination microwave, a fridge/freezer, wine cooler, a Dolce Gusto coffee machine and a dishwasher. The induction hob with a vertical rising extractor fan is set into the granite breakfast bar/kitchen island sit on the bar stools with a drink for a chat while dinner is cooking. The circular granite dining table and comfortable chairs make for special mealtimes together. A door leads from the kitchen into the long utility room with a washing machine and a tumble dryer. From here, the outside door opens onto the rear and side path where you can bring in wet dogs to dry off and store your boots on the welly rack. The rustic, luxury charm continues in the two bedrooms which are located at either end of the cottage. Each bedroom has a large picture window and distinctive hanging storage for your belongings. The beds are both king size zip and link which can be made up as two 2 6 twins on request and come with sumptuous bed linen to ensure you enjoy a great night's sleep. Each room has access to the garden through the glazed door within the picture windows. The two elegant en suite bathrooms are equally spacious, and each comprises a freestanding bath with a Velux window above for leisurely stargazing while you luxuriate in the bubbles, there is also a wet room style shower and a WC. Some locally sourced toiletries are also provided. Outside, there is a large lawned, south facing garden with an attractive stone patio and garden furniture where you can sit with a drink at sunrise and sunset and lose yourself listening to the bird song. To the side of the property, you will find an outdoor shower for cleaning paws and wellies, and there is a welly rack outside the rear door where you can leave your outdoor boots. A gate leads directly onto the deer park where sheep and hares share the land with the deer. Private parking for three cars is off road. This property has a private water supply.
