Walk along the beach to one of the village pubs with its own micro brewery for lunch and enjoy fabulous views across Embleton Bay. Both pub/restaurants in the village serve great food and there is a nature reserve where you can try bird watching. For walks along the beach and coastal paths, you can head for Craster, passing the magnificent ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle and to the north, make for Beadnell Bay. Drive to nearby Seahouses, Bamburgh and Alnwick and take a boat trip to the Farne Islands for days out. One of nine lodges you can rent together as a large family. Access is through the front door into the bright and airy, open plan lounge/kitchen/diner and you are drawn to the wall to wall windows at the far end of the lounge and views across the surrounding countryside. The contemporary kitchen has everything you need, including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer and the dining table has seating for four guests. The lounge has two comfortable sofas to unwind on at the end of the day to watch a film on the Smart TV/DVD. The large patio doors open out onto a private deck with garden furniture. There s also a separate WC. Heading upstairs to the first floor and find the two tastefully furnished bedrooms; one double and one twin, with gently sloping ceilings and ample head height. Both rooms benefit from dual windows and countryside views. The bedrooms share a contemporary shower room with a shower and WC. Outside, the private decked area has garden furniture for alfresco dining and morning coffee. The garden faces south west so can be a real sun trap in the afternoons and evenings and perfect for enjoying dreamy sunsets. There is also a shared, enclosed children s play area with swings, a slide and climbing frame and a shared games room with a pool table, table football and Smart TV with Sky TV with Sky Sports and separate WC.
