This stunning two bedroom lodge is just a stone s throw over the sand dunes to the beautiful sandy beach. The area is popular with windsurfers, but if you don t fancy getting wet why not try your hand at some rock pooling and catch hermit and porcelain crabs. There are some lovely country pub/restaurants in the nearby village to enjoy a few drinks and a meal or visit the enchanting nature reserve and unusual church of St Mary s, dating from the end of the 19th Century. There are plenty of coastal walks to try; head north along the Northumberland Coastal Path to Beadnell or south via Dunstanburgh Castle to Craster and you can always catch the bus back to the village. Enter the lodge into the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, it is a fabulous bright and spacious living area with wall to wall windows at the far end of the lounge and lovely views across the open countryside. The kitchen has a contemporary feel and is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer and the dining table has seating for the whole party. The lounge is a great area to relax and catch up after a day out, watch a movie on the Smart TV/DVD or play a game of cards. Large patio doors open out onto private decking. There s also a convenient separate WC. Heading to the first floor you will find two tastefully decorated bright bedrooms; one double and one twin, with gently sloping ceilings and ample head height. Both bedrooms have dual windows and countryside views. The bedrooms share a spacious shower room with a shower cubicle and WC. Outside, the private decking has garden furniture to enjoy alfresco dining or breakfast in the summer.
