Ivydene is a self-catering holiday cottage in Cromarty on the Black Isle and sleeps up to 8 guests. One of Gael Holiday Homes quality assured dog-friendly cottages. Ivydene Cottage is a terraced townhouse located in a peaceful square in the original part of Cromarty. This building dating back to the late 1700s, the cottage is one of the oldest properties in this quaint fishing village and was totally re-fitted in 2007. Ivydene offers guests a comfy and warm experience which creates a home away from home.
Ground floor:
Lounge: with enough seating for eight and TV with Freeview and DVD player. Dining/kitchen: Fitted modern kitchen with utensils and crockery. Table and chairs for 6 guests. Utility room: with washing machine. Shower room: Shower, toilet and sink. There is access to the enclosed secure gravelled area at the back of the cottage, with a round picnic table large enough for eight.
First floor:
Bedroom 1: Double bed, fitted mirrored wardrobes and chest of drawers. Bedroom 2: Double bed, fitted mirrored wardrobes and chest of drawers. Bathroom: with bath and shower. Second floor: Bedroom 3: Single bed, bedside cabins with lights, armchair and a table dresser. Bedroom 4: Single bed, bedside cabins with lights, armchair and mirror.
Prior to your arrival, we will email guests a contact number for the property owner or local housekeeper for your use should you require any assistance during your stay. Convenience shop: DM Stores is only a minutes' walk. Gael favourite restaurants: Sutor Creek Café, The Pantry Coffee Shop. Numerous shops, grocery shop, restaurants, cafes, boat trips, etc all within the village of Cromarty. No smoking. Not suitable for pets. No parties or events. Check-in time is 4 PM - 10 PM. Check out time is 10 am. Although housekeeping staff will clean the property after you leave we respectfully ask all guests to clean and put away any plates, cups, glasses, etc they have used during their stay. All bed linen, towels (one hand towel and one bath towel per person), electricity, heating and Wi-Fi are included in the price. A starter pack of supplies: includes toilet rolls, complementary sachets of coffee, sugar, teabags.
This vacation home is located in Cromarty. Hugh Miller Museum and Cromarty Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Fortrose & Rosemarkie Golf Club and Tain Golf Course. Black Isle Wildlife Park and Wildwoodz Paintball and Lasertag Park are also worth visiting.
