One of two self-catering, semi-detached properties, which are set on the banks of the River Severn. The cottages have recently been renovated to a high standard and are new holiday lets to the market.
A short mile walk down to The Woodbridge Inn, and just three miles downstream from the Ironbridge Gorge, a world-famous national heritage site and home to the world’s first iron bridge.
Relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the river, whilst being close enough to explore what the area has to offer with ease.
There are plenty of places to discover in the area, with 10 museums in the Ironbridge Gorge itself. There are numerous national trust sites, Severn Valley Railways, RAF Cosford Airforce Museum, to name just a few. Added to that there are lots of activities - there is a disused railway line behind the property which is part of the National Cycle Network, canoeing and rafting down the River Severn, fishing (but experience is necessary), quad biking, skiing and skating in Telford and lots of lovely walks either in the Clee Hills, on the Corvedale or up the Wrekin.
Located in Shifnal, this cottage is on a river. Iron Bridge and Ironbridge Gorge are local landmarks, and travelers looking to shop may want to visit Maws Craft Centre and Telford Shopping Centre. Looking to enjoy an event or a game while in town? See what's happening at New Bucks Head Stadium or Castlecroft Stadium. Take an opportunity to explore the area for water adventures such as canoeing.
