Macclesfield 6.5 miles. When you are in need of a group getaway, look no further than Lakeside Village & The Potting Shed, set on the Capesthorne Hall estate which rests in the beautiful county of Cheshire, this collection of three timber-clad lodges make the perfect place to call home while you reconnect with your loved ones. Enjoy spending time with the important people in your life, afterwards still benefitting from your own space to wind down in. Enter into your lodge through the glass door and find an open-plan layout containing a snug sitting area with a Smart TV, great for some evening entertainment, as well as the inviting king-size bed where you can catch your rest after a busy day. With quality furnishings and vibrant colours against muted tones, you will find the interior to be thoughtful and charming. Within each lodge you will also find a beautiful shower room, with a large double cubicle offering a luxurious spot to freshen up in the morning. Gather together in The Potting Shed, your shared kitchen and dining area, to rustle up a quick lunch for some or embark on a huge feast for the whole group, with several appliances to assist you in your creations and a large dining table resting in the next room. Tuck into your food as you look out of the bi-fold doors to the frosty winter lake beyond, or in summer open up the doors and let the outside in for a lovely fresh breeze. Delight in drinks on the patio on a balmy evening, toast to your holiday or break, plan new adventures and remember old ones too. Take a woodland walk around the charming grounds and discover its many corners, including The Walled Garden, The Milanese Gates and The Ice House, before stopping in for some scones and tea at the Lakeside Café when you want an afternoon treat on most Sundays and Mondays from April to October. Venture out to the surrounding area and find delightful destinations like Alderly Edge, known as the ‘Champagne capital of Britain’ for being home to the rich and famous and host to many quality restaurants and shops, Macclesfield with its bustling town centre and bars, or the Peak District for some wonderful walking country. Whatever your preference, whether you are big on the outdoors or prefer a more relaxing break, Lakeside Village & The Potting Shed can brilliantly accommodate your varied group for an unforgettable trip. Note: These 3 lodges can only be booked together, they cannot be booked individually.
