Its elevated location ensures unrivalled views across the Solent towards Portsmouth, and its large grounds ensure there's space for holiday fun both inside and out. There's easy access from the property to a range of coastal and countryside trails that let you see the beauty of the Isle of Wight for yourself, with a westerly walk serving as a route to a range of beaches and a nature reserve.
The ground floor of Oak Cliff Place hosts a range of living areas perfect for socialising, with a large entrance hall leading through to a drawing room and its conservatory. This is an excellent place to savour spectacular views over the Solent, and there's an open fire to make things extra cosy. Cosier still is the comfortable snug area, complete with a 42" flatscreen TV. For more entertainment, head to the games room, where you'll find a pool table and television.
Preparing meals is a delight in the spacious open-plan kitchen and dining room. Make use of the electric AGA stove, separate electric oven and hob, and side-by-side fridge/freezer (as well as an additional built-in fridge, with a dishwasher to ensure easy clean-up afterwards. There's a dining table that can seat up to 16 people, and for outdoor dining, french doors open to the large terraced area in the garden with its outdoor furniture and barbecue, as well as splendid coastal views. For your convenience, the ground floor also has a walk-in shower room, a downstairs cloakroom, and a utility room with a washing machine and outdoor dryer.
The first floor in the east wing of the house contains the master bedroom, with a king-size bed and a large en-suite bathroom complete with roll-top bath and walk-in shower. The master bedroom and its attendant bathroom both have incredible views of the sea. On this floor you'll also find a single bedroom with its own en-suite bathroom with a bath and a separeate shower, as well as a large double bedroom with a super-king bed and an adjoining bathroom with shower over bath. There's also a study up here with views of the garden across to the sea.
In the west wing, the first floor contains three double bedrooms, one of which has an additional single bed for alternative use as a twin room (only suitable for two guests). There's also a bathroom with shower over bath. The second floor of the west wing contains a double bedroom with its own en-suite bathroom containing a shower over the bath, as well as a large bedroom which has three single beds. All bedrooms in the west wing boast views of the sea.
The grounds of Oak Cliff Place provide plenty of magnificent outdoor space to enjoy on summer days. The spacious lawned gardens include a terraced area with outdoor furniture to seat 16, a gas barbecue, and fantastic sea views. Also included is a tennis court, a football pitch, a heated swimming pool with a pool house (available May through September), a sunken trampoline and a table tennis table. The private carriage driveway out the front also ensures there's plenty of space to park.
