This lovingly converted barn sits in the grounds of the owner s home and makes a stylish and homely base from which to explore all that the region has to offer. It is conveniently located on the edge of the village of Kilkhampton and just under 6 miles from the beautiful seaside town of Bude, with its choice of sandy stretches to relax on in the summer months or try your hand at some water sports. The beautiful Sandymouth beach is less than 4 miles away, with its sandy beach and café. There is much to see and do in the area with market towns such as Bideford (20 miles) and Holsworthy (10 miles). The Tamar Lakes (just under 3 miles) are also easily reached, offering an array of water based activities, walks, and fishing. Attractive and cosy, this reverse level barn has plenty of little quirks and character features and is contemporarily styled to ensure your holiday is as relaxing as possible. Entering the barn there is a hallway ideal for kicking off your shoes, and a utility area with a washing machine. The remainder of the ground floor offers the sleeping accommodation. There are two bedrooms: one king size room with wall mounted TV, en suite shower and WC, and a door leading out to the decking outside, and one a king size zip and link (which can be made into 2 6 single beds on request) this also has a wall mounted TV, en suite shower and WC, and a door leading out to the decking area. Heading upstairs, the winding wooden staircase leads to the bright and airy open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, complete with chic soft furnishings, a sofa bed, comfortable chairs, and Smart TV. The kitchen itself comprises an electric oven and induction hob, built in extractor, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher. A dining table and chairs allow everyone to sit and eat together whilst enjoying the panoramic countryside views from the picture window with a Juliette balcony. Outside, the barn has lots of added extras to make your stay a special one. The private decked area has garden furniture, loungers, and a charcoal BBQ, and leads to the hot tub, where you can relax after a long day out. There is a lawned area beyond the decking, ideal for watching the sunsets and socialising around the rustic firepit. There is private off road parking for two cars and an electric vehicle charging point (extra charge payable direct to owner).
