Menague sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms (1 king and 1 twin ), with 2 bathrooms in a quiet position in the centre of Rock, close to shops, deli, cafes, restaurants & golf course & yet only a short walk to the River Camel, beaches and ferry to Padstow & just a 5 min drive to the surf beach at Polzeath. With private as well as communal gardens, a conservatory, shed, wifi, work space, linen & towels, garage & parking you will have everything you need for a perfect and relaxing holiday for 2 couples, 3 singles or a small family. There is generous floor space in both bedrooms should you wish to bring a mattress or camp bed and bedding/linen for an additional child.
Menague is grouped in private gardens in the centre of Rock, yet in a quiet position. There's no need to travel far as all the shops (fishmonger, butcher, baker, a Spar and the legend of Fee's Food) are all close by. Golden sands stretch north to Daymer Bay and south to Porthilly Cove, all in walking distance. It is ideal for all generations . The house is approached down a quiet lane that will lead you onto the beach at Rock, the ferry to Padstow and the coastal path accross the golf course and on to Polzeath, Port Quin and on to the quaint and famous harbour village of Port Isaac .
There is a shallow unfenced pool in the communal gardens, so we recommend that the house is not suitable for children under 4 years. The ground floor is suitable for wheelchairs and the shower room is on the ground floor, but please note that both the bedrooms are up 1 flight of stairs on the 1st floor. There is mobile phone signal. There is an EV charger a 10 min walk away at the Rock Institute, and the garden backs onto the village football pitch.
There is a charcoal BBQ provided for your use, please bring your own charcoal.
Dogs (max 2) are welcomed, there is a fee of £50 per dog per week.
