Beautiful country cottage set in a idyllic spot with glorious country views. Walk from the cottage to the bustling fishing town of Looe through the tidal river valley in about an hour. The picturesque village of Polperro is a 10 minute drive away. Both Looe & Polperro have many restaurants, shops & local crafts. There are many beaches to explore all within a short drive. Talland, Lansallos, naming afew.
Also within a 15 minute drive is Bodinnick where Daphne dau Maurier lived & wrote her first novels. From there you can catch the car ferry to Fowey with its historic harbour.
15 minutes drive is the village of Lerryn with a picturesque river with its village built on both sides. it has a nice pub with good food and lovely woodland walks which was the inspiration for the Wind in the Willows books by Kenneth Grahame.
Within 30 minutes is the famous eden project. Lanhydrock house is a beautiful national trust property with extensive gardens & walks.
The nearby village of Pelynt has 2 shops which include a butchers & a post office. There is a pub which serves good food & real ales. There is a also a social club with a sports bar where visitors are welcome.
Ground floor consists of a dining room with a beautifully exposed slate floor. A lounge with a TV, dvd player & a electric heater. The kitchen has a electric oven with 4 hob rings, microwave, kettle, toaster & fridge.
First floor consists of 2 bedrooms & a bathroom with a bath & new shower. This property has low ceilings & door frames downstairs. Central heating throughout.
Bedroom 1 has recently been renovated to reveal higher ceilings with exposed beams & a new king bed.
Bedroom 2 has 2 twin beds which can be made into a superking bed & a separate single bed please request which you will require on booking
There is a small front lawned garden with outside table & chairs. There is a lawned garden out the back with stunning countryside valley views.
We have a adjoining cottage (ref 8162384) available which sleeps up to 6 if you'd like to hire the 2 together for large families or larger groups.
Week bookings are from fri to fri. I am now doing short breaks of 3 or 4 nights from fri to mon or mon to fri.

Located in Looe, this cottage is in a rural area. South West Coast Path Section 34 Trailhead and Polperro Harbour are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Eden Project and Polperro Model Village. Adrenalin Quarry and Kartworld are also worth visiting. With kayaking, motor boating, and fishing nearby, you'll find plenty of adventures in the water.
