Situated in a delightful corner of the Tamar Valley in SE Cornwall, Trehill Cottages provides a high quality of accommodation to discerning holiday makers. There are 2 lakes (free fishing) & 4 acres of beautifully maintained grounds
There is plenty to do at Trehill with two fishing ponds, hot tub (extra cost), games room, play areas and heated outdoor pool(available summer only) .
Our two fishing ponds are a major attraction. These are private ponds with only guests being able to fish. This keeps them in great condition and means there are always plenty of spots available. Stocked fish include Carp, Mirror Carp and Tench. Top fish weight is about 17lbs
Lakeside is spacious and very well furnished.
From the large upstairs balcony you have superb views over the Cornish countryside.
There are slate floors and low beamed ceilings in the lounge area, a large leather sofa with matching arm chairs perfect for slumping into after a hard day out. There is a good quality colour TV and fast wifi
The kitchen is modern and bright with stainless steel over and ceramic hob for fast and controlled cooking. The kitchen also benefits from a new dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer and microwave.
The pleasant dining area is Very light with direct views over the lake. Or why not have a BBQ & eat outside on your lakeside picnic table!
Bedrooms and Bathrooms. The upstairs living areas are fully carpeted with tiled bathrooms.
The main bedroom is extremely large. There are French windows leading to the large and very sunny balcony.
On a summer’s evening you can sit and watch the sun setting over the distant hills. There is a double bed, built-in wardrobe and dressing table.
The second bedroom has two single beds. There is a large bay window looking out onto the courtyard and lake. A built-in wardrobe and chest of drawers give plenty of storage space.
Bedroom 3 has one single bed. There is also a wardrobe with drawers.
All bedrooms have thermostatic heaters and the downstairs areas have a combination of electric and gas heating.
As a rainy day option we also include memberships at the nearby China Fleet club with its amazing array of indoor facilities. There is an extra cost for entry ranging from £6.50 for the pool complex (£4.50 for children)

Trehill is a superb destination in its own right, but if any of these facilities is crucial to your booking, you should contact us for updates relevant to your proposed dates. The facilities are subject to availability and while every effort will be made to include them, they cannot be guaranteed in the current climate.
Located in Callington, this cottage is in a rural area and by the sea. Dupath Well and Cotehele House and Gardens are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at St. Mellion Golf Club and Lanhydrock. Traveling with kids? Consider Launceston Steam Railway, or check out an event or a game at Home Park. Fishing offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with horse riding nearby.
