Situated in the idyllic village of Point, Nr Devoran, Polsue Cottage is a recently refurbished, reverse-level layout, white-washed cob cottage, nestled between the village green and stunning Restronguet Creek. Upon pulling into the driveway through the 5 bar gate, you walk down through the enchanting garden to a bridge that brings you straight into the light and airy well equipped modern kitchen on the 1st floor, with stunning views across the creek and garden and down towards the village of Devoran. Off the kitchen you will find a useful cloakroom and a light and airy sitting room and dining area, beautifully furnished, with spectacular views across the creek at the front and to the garden at the back. The dining area consists of a large square table surrounded by benches, making the perfect spot for not only eating but for playing games and planning your day. At the back is a delightful twin bedroom. All rooms benefit from storage for your personal items and are served by a newly installed family bathroom, housing an elegant bath and shower over. This property is as much about the delightful garden as it is the cottage, with a patio area that includes a brand-new Weber gas barbecue and a bench on which to sit and shout encouraging words to the chef! As well as a lawn on which you will find a round wooden garden table that comfortably seats 8. It is the perfect location to take advantage of the evening sunshine after a fun-filled day out. Just outside the front gate, you will find the village green, which is the perfect place for kids and dogs alike to have a good run around and you will also find an old fashioned phone box which now acts as the village library. Feel free to borrow a book! Just below Polsue Cottage is Point Quay where during high tide you can launch a dinghy or kayak, go for a swim, or fish. It is also a top notch crabbing area for kids and adults alike! During low tide it is a great location for bird spotters. The nearest pub is the Old Quay Inn in Devoran which is a stunning flat walk along the old tramway which runs alongside the creek. It serves great ales, numerous gins and fantastic food.
