Falmouth centre is a short walk away, with an impressive array of shops, pubs, cafés, restaurants and bars, along with popular tourist attractions such as Pendennis Castle, built by Henry VIII, and the National Maritime Museum Cornwall; while the closest beaches of Castle, Gyllyngvase and Swanpool are about a mile from the property. Hop on a ferry at the terminal and head over to St Mawes on the Roseland Heritage Coast, surrounded by lush green countryside, rocky coves and stunning sandy beaches, as well as being home to an impressive 16th century castle. Visit Swanpool and its nature reserve, a site of Special Scientific Interest with an incredible lagoon, and join the South West Coast Path, heading south towards the Lizard Heritage Coast to visit Trebah Gardens, Lizard Point and Kynance Cove, with a choice of sandy beaches to stop off at and spend an afternoon in the sunshine.
