This property is centrally located in Cornwall, with easy access to many of the county s attractions. The Eden Project is close by, as is the Victorian National Trust property of Lanhydrock House, with its mansion house and expansive grounds, including woodland cycle routes. To the south of the cottage lie the coastal towns of Fowey, Looe, and Charlestown. The latter is the location of the TV series Poldark and is a superbly maintained example of a Georgian harbour town, complete with its small fleet of tall ships, as well as a sandy beach. To the North lies the ever popular destinations of Port Isaac, Padstow and Polzeath, one of the countries surfing hot spots. The owners of this small group of cottages have really paid attention to detail here and this is evident as soon as you enter the property, keeping many original features. The open plan lounge/kitchen/diner is a spacious area with real oak flooring and impressive vaulted ceiling. In the middle of the space is a three sided wood burner, which assures the whole room stays lovely and cosy, no matter the weather (the first basket of logs is provided). At one end of the room, guests will find the comfortable lounge area with leather sofas, Smart TV, DVD, and hi fi with iPod dock. At the other end of the room, the large dining table comfortably seats eight, beyond which is the well equipped kitchen area. Here guests will find the oil fired Heritage range cooker, additional electric oven and hob, filter coffee machine, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer and fridge/freezer. Three steps lead to the bedroom area, with its three bedrooms. The first, a king size, has its own TV and en suite shower with WC. The second bedroom is a double zip and link, which can be made up as a twin with 2'6" beds on request and also has an en suite shower and WC. The third is a twin room. The main bathroom has a shower over bath and WC. Outside the property is an enclosed south facing garden with lawn and patio area. A BBQ and garden furniture are kept in a storage barn and guests are also able to use this to store bicycles if needed. There is ample off road parking.
