This fabulous beach house is situated on Northcott Mouth a stone's throw from the sandy beach and is approximately a 2 mile drive north of Bude. The surrounding area offers scenic walks along the South West coastal path, with beautiful beaches and coastline boasting some of the best surfing in England. The centre of Bude is a lively hub with an annual Carnival Week as well as a host of pubs, cafes and restaurants to suit every palate as well as a new Visitors Centre in the Crescent car park. The South West Coast Path also offers spectacular walking in both directions, and the nearby Wetland bird sanctuary and nature reserve has some lovely wildlife and scenery. Being conveniently located beside the A39, this is a great location for touring both Devon and Cornwall, and days out could include visits to The Eden Project, the delightful fishing villages of Clovelly, Boscastle, Tintagel, Port Isaac, Rock and Padstow, Bodmin Moor, and numerous National Trust properties and gardens all within 10 miles away. Be welcomed into this old fisherman's cottage complete with characterful low ceilings and a very handy porch entrance, ideal for drying off the dogs after a day of exploring. Straight ahead is the cosy downstairs bedroom with a double bed, ensuite shower room with a WC. Off to the left is the warm welcoming lounge boasting comfy seating and a glorious wood burner set in a stunning stone fireplace, a wonderful spot to curl up by the roaring fire, watch the Smart TV and relax. Moving on through to the kitchen you will find it has everything you need to create a delicious meal or pack up a hearty lunch with an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave and fridge freezer. Moving through the kitchen and out the other side is a great area for sitting and watching the changing tides whilst enjoying a cup of tea in the comfy armchairs. Up a couple of steps brings you to the fabulous dining area with beautiful original beams, and french doors leading out onto the sun deck overlooking the beach. Heading upstairs are another two bedrooms, the first a double with exposed beams and a very cosy feel, the second a twin room again with exposed beams and light and bright. Also on this floor is a bathroom with shower over bath and WC. The garage can be accessed by leaving the kitchen and making your way across a gravel area that has been converted into a games room with a pool table. The washing machine is also housed in this area. Outside, is an enclosed garden laid to lawn with a sundeck with patio furniture and loungers. There is also a gravel area to the side of the property which is private with bistro seating. The beach is on your doorstep.
