On the edge of Bodmin Moor, there are plenty of opportunities to stretch your legs and explore the Cornish wilderness. Sibleyback Lake is about five miles away, offering an array of water sports and activities, and Trethorne Leisure Park is a great day out for families. Ideally located for both the north and south Cornish coasts, the golden sands of Padstow and Polzeath (north) and the fishing villages of Polperro and Looe (south). Hannafore (West Looe) and Seaton beaches are perfect for seaside dog walks. The historic market towns of Liskeard, Launceston and Callington are all within easy reach for eateries, shops and amenities. The eastern uplands of Bodmin Moor can be seen from the property. Minions village has ample free parking and a pub, tearoom and shop facilities. Open moorland walks to the Hurlers stone circles and the Cheesewring quarry are popular activities here. Golitha falls offers beautiful walks along the River Fowey and the legendary Jamaica Inn is higher on the moor for a bit of culture and history. The large and spacious lounge/diner welcomes you into the property, with plenty of room for all the family. Comfortable furnishings mean you ll be able to relax when watching the large Smart TV/DVD. There is a wood burner for the colder months (first basket of logs included) and a large dining table to seat up to eight people in front of French doors out onto the balcony. The kitchen/diner is light and airy, with another large table and seating. The kitchen comprises of an electric oven and hob, fridge, dishwasher, microwave and a radio/CD. There is also a shower room with WC. On the lower ground floor, there is an additional snug lounge, which has a comfy sofa and large TV/DVD and ports for plugging in any consoles you wish to take. There is a door to an enclosed patio area, and steps down to the utility room, with washing machine, tumble dryer, freezer, additional fridge, and large storage space. On the first floor, there are four bedrooms: the master bedroom has a king size bed, TV, and en suite shower room with WC. This is accessed via a large bedroom with twin beds, with a further twin bedroom and another room with double bed. The main bathroom on this floor has a bath and WC. Outside the property benefits from a private balcony with garden seating for soaking up the sun, accessed via the lounge/diner. There is also an enclosed patio area with garden furniture and gas BBQ, and adjacent to the cottage is an acre of fenced grass for games and dogs. Football goal and badminton set available. There is private off road parking for four cars.
