This lovingly restored property located in the Lake District National Park is just 1 mile from the village of Ennerdale Bridge where you will find a couple of friendly local pubs and a café. Ennerdale Water is the most westerly lake (5 miles) even in high season, this is a great place to escape, with crystal clear water and pretty forest walks. The coastal town of St Bees is 7 miles away, enjoy a walk along the promenade or surfing and kite surfing on the gently shelving surf beach. Whinlatter is 17 miles away, here you will find Go Ape and some amazing bike tracks. For the more seasoned walkers take on Catbells (26 miles) or Kinniside Stone Circle (1.5 miles) where, on a clear day, you can see Scotland and the Isle of Man. As you enter the property into the hallway, you will find a twin and double bedroom along with a family bathroom offering a separate shower, shower over the bath and WC. From the hallway you will find yourself in a bright spacious open plan lounge and kitchen with a dining area, it has a practical slate floor and comfy seating with a wall mounted TV. There is a large picture window that opens out onto a small private patio. Opposite the lounge area is the kitchen with an electric hob and oven, fridge, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. There is a dining table for you to catch up over breakfast and make plans for the day ahead! From the lounge area, head upstairs to the first floor via the spiral staircase where you will find the master bedroom with a super king bed and a bathroom that has a bath with a handheld shower and WC. Due to the eaves, there are some areas with limited head space on this floor. There is a small patio at the front of the property. It is a real suntrap and offers a great place to sit and listen to the birds with a coffee or star gaze in the evenings. There is private parking for two cars at the front of the property.
