The 17th century barn conversion sleeps six guests and has a large garden, surrounded by rolling hills. During your stay, you really must get out on the water to appreciate Windermere in all its glory. Board one of the iconic steamers, where you can hop on and off to visit the aquarium or ride on the vintage steam train. Needless to say, the walking opportunities in this area are endless. Enjoy a tranquil waterside stroll, or head high up into the fells. Climb to the summit of Orrest Head for truly breathtaking views over the lake. Enter the property up some steps and via the original barn door, into the spacious entrance hall. From here, discover a welcoming lounge with a roaring wood burner, impressive high ceilings and beautiful exposed beams. There s also a Bluetooth speaker so you can unwind listening to your favourite songs. A fantastic selection of games, books, DVDs and jigsaws are provided, to while away a few hours. Stairs lead from here to a mezzanine area with low sloping ceilings, overlooking the lounge; a peaceful spot to relax with a cup of coffee. Up a few steps from the lounge is the kitchen under sloping ceilings with low exposed beams, which has a dining table for enjoying mealtimes together as well as additional comfy seating so you can socialise whilst the food is being prepared, listen to the DAB radio or admire the views out over the garden. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. There s also a coffee machine to kick start your day. On the ground floor, you ll also find the first of three bedrooms, a stylish king size decorated in calming tones with its own TV. The bathroom on this floor has a shower over the bath and a WC.
