Ullswater is 3 miles away where there is some fantastic hill walking along the High Street ridge, or you can hire rowing boats, motorboats and canoes to explore the tiny islands on the Lake. 9 miles away, Aira Force waterfalls are well worth a visit as is the stunning Lowther Castle, its gardens and adventure playground, 4 miles away. Located in Europe s largest grass covered building, Rhegad is 5 miles away and has independent shops, cafés, an exhibition centre and a large 3D cinema. The local pub is 1 mile away and renowned for its excellent food and delightful atmosphere. All on one level and furnished to a high standard with all modern conveniences, this pine lodge is light, spacious and characterful with plenty of stylish interior delights. The spacious and light king size bedroom has an en suite shower room, and both this room and the twin room have a fitted wardrobe. There is a bunk room and a shower room with a large power shower.
