This stunning recently fully renovated building is set on the owner s grounds, dating back centuries. This property's stunning views have to be seen to believed and it is set between the towns of Cockermouth and Workington. Ullock is a great starting point to explore the Western Lake District and coast where there are plenty of walks straight from your door up to Loweswater, Buttermere, Crummock and Ennderale which have views to behold. Cockermouth is only a short drive away and has an abundance of eateries and shops so you will not be found wanting. There are plenty of other sites to explore in the local area such as visiting the Jennings Brewery, the Aquarium in Maryport, the Lakes Distillery and many more. On arrival you will be greeted by the spacious private courtyard and the grand house itself. Enter through the porch and oak front door into the snug which is equipped with two large sofas, Smart TV and wood burner. To the left you will find yourself in the country styled kitchen/diner which is a cook s dream, with electric oven and hob, AGA, dishwasher, and plenty of cooking space. There is also a small dining area with traditional seating with bench and chairs. Head down a step into the pantry which holds the fridge/freezer and microwave along with plenty of space to store supplies for your holiday. From the pantry head through to the hallway where you will find the wet room with shower and WC, and along the hallway from this is the twin zip and link bedroom (which can be made up as a super king size on request) with amazing views to behold. Finally, on the ground floor, you will find the lounge with original open fire which is great for those nights in where you can kick back and relax with the sofas and armchairs in front of the Smart TV. Head back out into the hall and head up the first set of steps to the first floor, where you will firstly come across the king size room with amazing views across the countryside. Next is another king size room with the same stunning views but the bonus of an en suite shower room and WC. The main bathroom is next with bath with hand held shower and WC, followed by another king size bedroom. Finally, we find ourselves in the master bedroom, also with king size bed and en suite shower room and WC. Leading through the bedroom is a passage to the last two bedrooms which are a double and bunk bedroom with Jack and Jill shower room, accessed from both bedrooms. There is also a staircase in the magical celebration room, which must be seen to be believed. Here, you feel as though you are in a great hall with the large table and chairs for that family feast of champions along with a wood burner and best of all a serving kitchen equipped with electric oven and hob, wine cooler and dishwasher plus plenty of additional crockery. There is also a doorway which leads back around to the snug where we first began our journey of this magnificent home. At the rear of the property you will find the garden area with paved seating area and a charcoal BBQ, there are five steps leading down to the grass area. At the front of the property you will find an outbuilding equipped with washing machine and tumble dryer, plus storage for bikes and kayaks etc. The vast courtyard has space for off road parking for six cars.
