Tucked away in the northern reaches of the North Pennines, Williamston Barns sits in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with stunning scenery and wildlife, as well as endless opportunities for walking, cycling and country sports right on the doorstep.
Beautifully restored and converted
Spread across 1000 acres of rolling countryside and lush river valleys, a stay at the Barns promises a luxury escape away from the madding crowd. Beautifully restored and converted, Williamston Barns can accommodate up to fourteen people and will appeal to extended families and larger groups who wish to holiday together amidst stunning surroundings. The property comprises two interconnecting units (The Barn & The Cowshed) set-out in a companionable open plan layout with plenty of space for relaxation or social gatherings.
The original barn opening extends into a spacious entrance hallway leading to a fantastic open plan kitchen and dining area with beautifully exposed brickwork and high quality finishes throughout. For entertaining, the dining area can seat up to 14 guests for simple suppers or elaborate dinner parties, while large sliding doors lead out to a south facing terrace and garden for a leisurely aperitif in the early evening sun.
Upstairs on the first floor, the lofty light-filled living space benefits from a number of superb architectural features and offers a perfect excuse to unwind in front of the cosy wood burning stove, spend quality time with friends and family, or simply enjoy the spectacular uninterrupted views across the valley and fellside.
The seven en-suite bedrooms offer flexible accommodation for guests and are all beautifully appointed with crisp linens, sumptuous beds, and finest quality cushions and throws from Johnstons Cashmere.
