Crich is a pretty Derbyshire village on the edge of the Derbyshire Dales. It is the home of the Crich Tramway Village. Crich was also the setting for the fictional village of Cardale which featured in the popular TV series 'Peak Practice'. The lovely village benefits from its own fish and chip shop, Indian restaurant/takeaway, two local pubs, village shop, post office and a lovely children s play park just around the corner from the cottage. Many attractions are within easy reach and there are many glorious walks right from the doorstep. There is something for all ages nearby, including Matlock (6 miles) and Matlock Bath (6 miles), Gulliver s Kingdom (6 miles), and the Heights of Abraham (6 miles) which is a hilltop park reached by cable car, with cavern tours, walking trails, fossil exhibitions, and cafe. Just a little further away is the lovely town of Bakewell (15 miles) and the stunning Chatsworth House and Gardens (15 miles). Step into the entrance hallway with space to store coats and boots and wander through to the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner which offers an electric oven and induction hob, microwave, and large dining table with enough space to seat ten guests. There is a utility area just off the kitchen that offers a fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, and dishwasher. Relax in the living room area with a large corner sofa and Smart TV. There is a downstairs bedroom with a single bed and Smart TV for lazy lie ins, and you will also find a handy downstairs WC. Upstairs is a double bedroom with a handy en suite shower room and WC. There is also another double bedroom and a twin bedroom, each with matching fabrics and furniture, and a single bedroom with ample furniture to store all of your belongings. The family bathroom offers a shower over bath and WC. Outside, the garden is fully enclosed making it both pet and child friendly. There is a hot tub and large picnic bench, great for summer days and enjoying meals outside. There is off road parking for up to four cars.
