Built in 1874 by a local stone merchant Samson Deeley, Deeley house sits on the A6 road between Matlock and Bakewell. The region provides the ultimate outdoor playground for all ages, with activities in abundance including; climbing, cycling, running and hiking. From the rolling valleys of the White Peak, to the harsh, craggy edges of the Dark Peak, the variety on offer from north to south is simply overwhelming. The local town of Matlock offers a beautiful festive market each year as well as the outstanding Chatsworth Christmas market.
