Treetops is a unique little haven tucked in a South Devon valley valley, just over a mile from the village of Bantham and its famous surfing beach. Treetops has a recently been refurbished in cool, serene and neutral colours to enhance the feeling of relaxation and calm with its light and airy interior.
Treetops has an open plan living space where you can sit and enjoy the view out of the French doors and balcony across the valley. The large balcony has a delightful dining area surrounded by trailing wisteria, where you can enjoy sunrise or sundown in this serene location.
Below Treetops is a beautiful garden full of wild flowers and a large decked area with table and chairs to enjoy a glass of wine listening to the birds chatter and watch the sun dip down the valley. Treetops is located in the valley with a handful of other holiday cottages nearby though its elevated position makes it secluded and private. There are gorgeous country walks leaving from the Treetops and is only a 20 minute walk to the famous, award winning Bantham Beach. Guests book repeatedly each year for its charm and location.
The bedroom with double bed has its own balcony doors opening onto the valley and a skylight overhead for stargazing from bed. The living room has a pull out sofa bed for 2 people expanding the capacity to 4. The recently refurbished bathroom has a large shower, toilet and basin.
The small and compact kitchen area has an undercounter fridge with freezer compartment, double oven and hob. There is also a microwave, kettle and toaster. There is a small breakfast bar and dining table that extends to seat 4 people. Though not a large space you should have everything you should need for your stay, including internet and smart tv with Netflix.
Treetops is a mile from the lovely village of Bantham where you can find the village shop and café and The Sloop which offers an extensive menu of local fayre. Boasting the famous surfing beach in the South West you can take advantage of the surf school or the hire surf equipment and wetsuits.
West Buckland is just a short drive from the local market town of Kingsbridge with its bustling Fore Street with an eclectic, yet attractive mix of shop fronts, cafes and pubs. The nearby coastal towns of Salcombe and Dartmouth are lined with boutique shops, lifestyle brands, art galleries and gift shops – you can while the time away browsing through these towns.
