The Lodge is a quirky, refurbished property, located high up on the cliffs, with great views looking across Torbay towards Brixham. It’s situated 2 minutes walk to the town centre and the harbour and beaches.
There is a large front room for all guests to chill out together. The kitchen has an industrial theme with a large central island and seating area.
The garden is south facing with a large decking area around a heated swimming pool, ideal for guests to lounge around in the sun.
The Lodge was built in 1880 and used to be the gate house to the Delmonte villa next-door, where William Gladstone, prime minister used to live.
It boasts three large double bedrooms, one with hand carved furniture and ensuite. The fourth bedroom has two single beds.
The kitchen is very spacious with a seating area and all amenities.
The handcrafted dining table next to the patio doors will seat 8 people. There is also a barbeque area in the garden that seats 8.
There is parking for one vehicle at the property or the car park next door for another vehicle.
All large supermarkets deliver food orders here .
Located on the waterfront, this vacation home is in Torquay City Centre, a neighborhood in Torquay. Torquay Marina and Torquay Golf Club are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Cockington Country Park and South Devon.
